#4 Wall Street

Wall Street

Wall Street is a street in Lower Manhattan, New York City. It runs east from Broadway to South Street on the East River, through the historical center of the Financial District. It is the first permanent home of the New York Stock Exchange, the world's largest stock exchange by market capitalization of its listed companies. Over time, Wall street became the name of the surrounding geographic neighborhood and also shorthand for the "influential financial interests" of the American financial industry, which is centered in the New York City area. Anchored by Wall Street, New York City vies with the City of London to be the financial capital of the world.

I got the Wall Street eventually. For me, standing on the Wall Street was almost like a dream. I used to read the Wall Street Journal for expanding my knowledge about the economics. The fact that here is the world stock exchange center made me feel tremor.
I hopefully want to work here someday.

Most of the roads here were so narrow that both way cars can pass through.

It is true that it's not easy to see the sky in the Wall street because of skyscrapers

There is a reason the large bull statue on Wallstreet has a set of nuts that are shiny gold. It turns out they have been rubbed millions of times over the years. It turns out one of the "Must Do" things to do if you are in New York is to go down to Wallstreet and "Molest the Bull".

Wall Street Bull - Good luck burnishing. This is the charging bull located on Wall Street, just north of Bowling Green Park in Manhattan.

                                                Ground Zero
The term ground zero (sometimes also known as surface zero as distinguish from zero point) describes the point on the Earth's surface closet to a detonation. In the case of an explosion above the ground, ground zero refers to the point on the ground directly below the detonation.

There were so many cranes to re-construct the buildings in this area. When the 9.11 terror had been happened I never expected that I could come here to see. But I was standing there with strange feeling. I hope this kind of tragedy never be taken place again.
