#2 Vineyard Heaven

Martha's Vineyard Heaven

Martha's vineyard (including the smaller Chappaquiddick Island) is an island off the south of Cape Cod in New England. The islands both form a part of the Outer Lands region. Often called just "The Vineyard," the island has a land area of 87.48 square miles (231.75km²) and is the 58th largest island in the United States, and the third largest on the East Coast of the United States. The estimated year-round population is 15,000 residents, however the summer population can swell to over 75,000 people. About 56% of the Vineyard's 14,621 homes are seasonally occupied. A cost of living on the island is 60 percent higher than the national average and housing prices are 96 percent higher.

I have visited this island twice last summer. The first time, I went there with my host family but second time, with my friends. This island was so beautiful and perfect place to spend great time for summer vacation. Even though the costs of staying in this city is too high, it's absolutely worthy to visit and enjoy  the summer stuff during the vacation. When I was staying there, I rent a motorcycle for 2 days and shared each of 2 with my friend to save money. It was so convenient to look around whole over the island. I did a lot of summer stuff on the beach and I totally satisfied it having my vacation here. One more, this island is very famous for the vacation place for the president of Obama.

If you have a chance to stay in the state of Massachusetts during the summer, be sure to visit here.
For me, here was almost kind of paradise. If you stay here for an hour, you will never want to leave.
(Gay Head Cliffs)

This is one of my best friends Miguel from Brazil. So nice guy.
We got a lot of argues about trivial things but I shared most of time with him.

This is Marta from Italy. So nice friend! She was my classmates in Mark's class. We got pretty nice time in Boston and I like her cool characteristic.

This is Andrea from Italy. Andrea and I were pretty compatible and we had quite similar characteristic. He is also one of my best friends; I'm gonna visit Italy next Summer vacation to see him.

Miguel again

On the way to the island. We got on the big ferry to get there.
It took 40 minutes to arrive at Oak Bluff.

On the ferry. It was substantially fantastic summer.

Gay Head Cliffs
It is a popular landmark on the western - most part of the island. The cliffs are made entirely of colorful clay. Tourist to Martha's Vineyard must come and see this fantastic view!

Gay Head Cliffs (Together)

Miguel and I were playing a soccer on the beach.

I like especially this picture. So dynamic picture. Playing soccer with Andrea.

I don't remember the name of this area. But here was best place to see sunset. The sunset was excellent.

Marta and the hostel mother. She was so kind and gave us much of valuable information to have the best time in this island.

Miguel and Marta on the ferry.

On the ferry Andrea

On the ferry Andrea and Miguel

In our youth hostel. This accommodation was reasonable price and pretty nice to stay!

Before we left, Andrea was ready to drive!!

Before we moved to another place, we took a short break here.

I took over the US for a while...... kk

Miguel was burned on his whole body because of the strong sun. I suggested that he put some sunblock on his skin but he didn't. So later he's got pain for weeks.

This was my big mistake. I tried to get my skin tanned like Marta but I got sunburned instead of attractive tanned skin.

This was our first lunch in the island. It was fried fish and french fries. Not bad.

On the beach, I felt that I gotta do work out for my body. kkk I want to be in good shape.

We came here to see the sunset and took picture together

On the beach under the hottest sun with no parasol.

Marta got some sea shells and we throw them to the beach. kkk

Diving Bridge
I was supposed to jump into the water but I got scared when I arrived there so I gave up with no hesitance. Nobody succeeded in it.
