#8 Manhattan

Manhattan

Manhattan is the smallest yet most densely populated of the five boroughs of New York City. Located primarily on Manhattan Island at the mouth of the Hudson River, the boundaries of the borough are identical to those of New York County, an original county of the state of New York. It consists of Manhattan Island and several small adjacent islands: Roosevelt Island, Randall's Island, Wards Island. Governors Island, Liberty Island, part of Ellis Island, and U Thant Island; as well as Marble Hill, a mall section on the mainland adjacent to the Bronx. The original city of New York began at the southern end of Manhattan, and expanded in 1989 to include surrounding counties. It is the geographically smallest, yet most urbanized of the five boroughs.

I got a beef steak for my lunch near the Rock Feller Building. The price of my meal was so expensive. But I didn't regret that I had lunch here because I was worthy enough.

NBC Studio. I couldn't take a NBC Studio tour guide unfortunately because I had no time to join it.

My guide book gave me every kinds of information.

5th Avenue. This area has a lot of stores. I got so many stuffs in here.

On the way to the Empire State building, I found this great park. I took short break here.

In the middle of city, I could find this treasure. So nice park.

The only thing that I wanted to do was lying on the ground as others. But unfortunately I had no blanket.

The Korea Town was near the Empire State Building; exactly right in front of the building. So I stayed here until moon appeared.

Here is near the Rock Feller building. In summer, this area is used for restaurant. In winter, changed to Ice link.

Soho (South of Houston) is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Manhattan in the United States. In the 1840s and 1850s, it was an area with more bars and brothels than anywhere else in the city, catering to a male clientele from all social stations from clerks through the middle class to the city's elite, all of whom filled the area streets and sidewalks from Saturday night to Monday morning. Eventually, as the center of the growing city continued to move uptown, the quality of the area declined, until it became known as Hell's Hundred Acres, an "industrial wasteland", full of sweatshops and small factories in the daytime, but empty night.

I tried thousands of sunglasses but there were no better than mines.

NYU The library of the New York University.
I couldn't enter the library because of school policy.
