The Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, designed by Frederic Bartholdi and dedicated on October 28, 1886. The statue, a gift to the United States from the people of France, is of a robed female figure representing Liberty, the Roman goddess of freedom, who bears a torch and a tablet evoking the law upon which is inscribed the date of the American Declaration of Independence. A broken chain lies at her feet. The statues has become an iconic symbol of freedom and of the United States.
Standing in the front of the statue. This statue was dirty as I never expected. Even worse, some part of surface of the statue was covered by the moss unfortunately. I hope the office spend some budget to wash out the surface and maintain the facilities.
The most amazing statue!
I was so sorry because the wether was so suck.
Fortunately, It was starting to rain when I arrived at Manhattan.
This is pretty good pic taken by me.
I don't have any idea about this statue but I think it's not bad. I got this pic when I waited the ferry to get to Elis Island. It took almost an hour to get on the ferry because we should be checked for security.
There were two kinds of ferries for touring the Statue of Liberty. First one is my ferry that takes people to the Elis Island. We should pay for this ferry. The other one is free ferry but we can't walk around the Elis Island, just hanging around near it and come back.
From the ferry way to Elis Island to Manhattan.

This is New York water taxi. We can go everywhere around Manhattan by this especially, Brooklyn.
From Elis Island port. In my case, there were not so many people waiting for the ferry. So I could get on the ferry without the line.

Most of crowd and prominent places had this kind of procedure to enter them.
I couldn't take a seat because I was so excited the fact that I was standing here.

Feel so good.
I was so sorry because I couldn't look around the top of the statue. If you want to go there, you should make a reservation before you come here probably 2 or 3 weeks ago.
I will never forget this feeling with this Statue of Liberty
Good bye Statue of Liberty. I will come back here again someday.
On the way to Immigrant Museum. I was so sorry to leave my imaginary place too early. I should be hurry at that time because I had a lot to stop by around lower Manhattan.
