Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is a 102-story landmark art Deco skyscraper in New York City at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. It is 381 meters (1,250 feet) tall. Its name is derived from the nickname for New York, The Empire State. It stood as the world's tallest building for more than 40 years, from its completion in 1931 until construction of the World Trade Center's North Tower was completed in 1972. Following the terrorist bombing and destruction of the World Trade Center in 2001, the Empire State Building again became the tallest building in New York City.
Because of the King Kong movie, this building is pretty famous all over the world. In the movie, King Kong climbed top of the building and fought a lot of people who tried to kill him. For me, this building had been the imaginary thing that only existed in my head. One of my friends lived in the America for an year always talked about this building. So this building was so familiar with me. Not surprisingly, the view from the top was amazing!

This is the Empire State Building.
Welcome to the Empire State Building. We can see this big wall sculpture on the first floor.
On the first floor, before I went upstairs I got it with the figure.
Security procedure. Here was like an airport. We had to put off our shoes, jackets and metal things. It was a little bit bothersome but I understood what they've offered. Actually, taking picture of this scene was prohibited. If my pic had been discovered, it would have been absolutely eliminated.

Here is the 102nd floor. There was no balcony but it's good enough being here.
I got a souvenir coin curved the Empire State Building. To get this coin, we should insert 1 coin dollar with 1 penny. I've collected several types of souvenir coins.
This is that souvenir coin what I mentioned before.
I got this picture in the building. Some of photos were exhibited in the hallway.
If you want to go to the top of the building, 102nd floor, you should pay $15 more. So total price of going top of the building was almost $30. It was worthy enough.
On the observatory, I could see all over the New York City. It was awesome skyline. There's a Chrysler building on the left side.
Skyline of New York City
From the Empire State Building. I was able to see whole of the skyline of New York City. Especially Chrysler Building was so impressive.
It's not easy to open my eyes because it was so windy.
